Shazam mobile applications, already available on iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Symbian devices, is debutting on Windows Marketplace for Windows Mobile, and offers the features to help identify songs, artists, and albums just by having you hold the phone next to the source of the music being played - like your radio or computer speakers. Free version of Windows mobile will be called “freemium,” will include all basic features, but premium version a $4.69 “Shazam Encore” gives you more, including unlimited searches (aka “tagging”) and recommendations. It’ll also provide access to popularity charts, artist and band bios, discographies, and album reviews.
