Google co-founder Sergey Brin launched a blog too.blogspot.com, using a simple light on black template. “Welcome to my personal blog. While Google is a play on googol, too is a play on the much smaller number – two. It also means ’in addition’, as this blog reflects my life outside of work, says Sergey.”
In his first post, Sergey writes about his mother’s Parkinson’s Disease, its relation to his wife Anne Wojcicki’s company 23andMe – a company which provides personal genes analysis, and which Google invested $3.9 million in, and which Sergey had loaned money to – and how Sergey found out himself through 23andMe that he has an above average chance of developing Parkinson’s Disease in his life.
