Launched in December 2011, Google Schemer, an activity recommendations portal that lets people 'discover new things to do' -- today, launches an iPhone app for scheming on the go. Schemer already had an Android app. The service is a social network "all about the schemes" that allows you to post your plans for future activities, meet with friends, and get activities, or "schemes" recommended to you.
How does it work? "It's all about the schemes! A scheme is anything you might want to do - from taking a mixology course to surfing sand dunes. Whatever schemes strike your fancy, collect them on Schemer and then take them with you using our mobile app. Now you'll always have a scheme up your sleeve, whether you're out and about or staying home. Schemer will even suggest the perfect scheme for the moment, for example watching a movie if it's a rainy day, or checking out a new brunch spot on a weekend morning," read the official description of the app.
Schemer uses your Google+ account to show schemes that the people in your circles have done. Even better, you can use Schemer to find new stuff to do with your friends. Pick a scheme and rally your crew to go do it!
