The even is a platform to announce the launch of Google Nexus Prime handset (aka Galaxy Nexus) with the latest version of Android; Ice Cream Sandwich.
DigitalLife has posted a picture (embedded below) that it claims to be the Nexus Prime (Galaxy Nexus).
With both of these, and a offical Samsung teaser video and a leaked holding page on Google's own YouTube (since pulled) claiming that the Ice Cream Sandwich launch is to be streamed live on 11 October, that about wraps that one up. TechCrunch spotted the announcement on the Android Developer YouTube Channel before its disappearance.
The specifications of the new Google/Samsung handset is believed to boast an 1.2GHz dual-core A9 processor with 1GB of RAM. 32GB of internal storage is also expected, along with a rear-mounted 5-megapixel camera on the back with an 1.3 model on the front, plus 1080p video recording capabilities. And the touchscreen will be a stunning 4.56-inch AMOLED HD display (1280 x 720 pixels).
