Samsung GALAXY S III mini, a compact version of its big brother the Galaxy S III and comes with a 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen, compared to the 4.8-inch of the S3.
Both the Galaxy S3 mini and S 3 have Super AMOLED display with the larger version having a corning gorilla glass for protection. Galaxy S3 has a larger screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, while the S 3 ming has the 480 x 800 pixel screen resolution.
Another big difference between the two Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S 3 mini is the former runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box, the S 3 mini runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out-of-the-box.
The big brother still awaits official Jelly Bean update in most part of the World.
