Pinterest Refreshes Profile 'New UI, Rotating Showcase' and More

Pinterest is introducing a handfull of new features and improvements including a new refresh to the user interface design that works across the devices and web including your iPhone, Android.

The profile is now much cleaner including the boards you showcase, cover images for each board now look consistent across the web and on mobile apps. With the new Pinterest, you can now greet people with a hand-picked new rotating showcase that sits right at the top of your profile.

Also, you can now choose up to five boards to feature on the web as well as you can highlight any Buyable Pins in the new first "Shop" slot.

Additionally, along with the new design, a tab for boards and for Pins are added to the profiles, so people can easily see the things they're most interested in. "So if someone wants the total number of ideas you've saved, they just switch over to your Pins tab," writes Pinterest.

Meanwhile the Pins you've Liked, are only visible to you.

The new showcase on mobile is now moved to where stack of most recent Pins used to be—helping you to control what people see. Also, you can now select new board cover images, so you can make adjustments when you're out and about.

You'll start to see these new improvements on the Pinterest website and apps beginning today.
