When all you have to spare for a Windows Vista tip or a trick is 60 seconds of your precious time… then 1 minute Microsoft tutorials addressing various points of interest across the operating system are just the right
thing for you. And this is not yet another example of the Redmond company’s top 10 worst Windows Vista tips and tricks ever. With this new collection of tutorials, Microsoft actually assumes that users are already familiar with concepts such as searching, tabbed browsing, network sharing and navigating the Start Menu. In the past the Microsoft company attempted to deliver the top 10 Windows Vista tips and tricks only to fail miserably.
But this time, the new Vista tutorials come with a fresh scent of Canadian maple… And the 1 minute tips and tricks are not focused exclusively on Windows Vista, but also on the Office 2007 System, Windows Live OneCare and Internet Explorer 7. The 1 minute video tutorials are centralized in the Microsoft Canada Small Business Corner and cover everything from Vista to security, connectivity and design issues. “These 1 minute videos provide helpful tips designed to simplify your everyday tasks using Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. So start saving time right away and click on the tips that will help you the most,” reads a message posted on the webpage.
Now you do have to keep in mind that the tutorials are limited to 1 minute, so the level of information available is minimal. However, they will at least point you in the right direction, or help you discover a feature of Vista or Office 2007 that you were not aware of. Just don’t expect any revelations, the videos are beginner level and nothing more, and act as advertisements for various functions, features and capabilities built into the products enumerated in here.
