After Samsung bashing the iPhone 5, it is now Nokia, who has thrown it weight down too in a video posted on YouTube today. Named "Nokia Lumia 920 - Time to #switch," the cartoon-like ad portrays iPhone 5 future owners queuing to purchase the latest smartphone bearing the fruit company logo. Nokia uses its colors for marketing against the iPhone 5's.
iPad Mini is being mass produced en route to a launch later this month. This is Wall St. Journal claiming in a report stating, that LG and AU optronics are making the 1024×768 7.85-inch display and began production of that last month."
"Apple Inc.'s Asian component suppliers have started mass production of a new tablet computer smaller than the current iPad, people with knowledge of the situation said, as the Silicon Valley company tries to stay competitive against rivals such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.that are offering smaller, less-expensive alternatives to the iPad."
Also, AppleInsider posted purpoted photos of the iPad mini showing off the 7.85-inch tablet--said to sport a nano-SIM card slot for wireless network support. The side bezel is smaller and the speakers are placed on the bottom, flanking a Lightning port.
The casing is reportedly anodized aluminum that easily gets scratches, the iPhone 5 owners reported having discovered scratches on their new iPhone.
Invites for the October 17 event are said to hit Apple's BFF's inboxes on October 10.
A October 11 Samsung event invite is out -- Samsung will be pulling back the curtains on a smaller-than-usual smartphone at its Mobile Store in Frankfurt on October 11.
"So big can be small," the invitation reads. "And so small can be big." Cryptic, no?
According to speculation, Samsung plan to unveil Galaxy S III Mini.
