New feed experience in Google app, making it easier to discover, explore and stay connected to what matters to you—even when you don't have a query in mind.

Helping people to more easier than ever discover, explore and stay connected to what matters them most, a new feed experience in the Google app on the Android and iOS is launched. Here is what comes this new feed experience:

Smart feed, in addition to cards for sports highlights, top news, engaging videos, new music, stories to read, the new feed will now based on your interactions with Google, alongwith trending topics in your area and around the world.

Since the feed utilizes machine learning, with time it will also reflect your interest level for various topics. Unfollowing topics is easy too, just tap on a given card in your feed, or visit Google app settings.

Google also made it easier to follow your favorite topics right from the search results—now when on a search results page, just look for a new "Follow" button, a quick tap of the follow button and you'll start getting updates and stories about that topic in your feed.

The feature is currently available to only a certain types of search results including movies, sports teams, your favorite bands or music artists, famous people, and more.

Google says, the news stories will now have multiple viewpoints that comes from a variety of sources, alongwith other related information and articles. And, when available, the fact check as well as other relevant information will available, too.

To help you dive deeper into a topic, the top of every card in the feed will show a header letting you search that topic on Google with one tap.

This new feed is available now in the U.S. on the Google app for Android including the Pixel Launcher, and iOS. The internation lauch is slated to happen in the next couple of weeks, says Google.

Just open the Google app and scroll up to get started.
