Microsoft's Windows logo is now going to change with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, which is scheduled on February 29, MWC 2012, Barcelona, Spain. The Redmond company is replacing its legacy Windows logo in favor of something new:

According to multiple sources including CNBeta, the logo will replace the current one on the charms bar. The original screenshot was taken from a recently dropped Windows 8 build. They've also supposedly added a new branding to the boot screen, however the logo is very familiar there still.
