OS X Mountain Lion was released last week on Wednesday, has now been downloaded more than 3 million times during its first 4 days of availability.
"Just a year after the incredibly successful introduction of Lion, customers have downloaded Mountain Lion over three million times in just four days, making it our most successful release ever," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
Also, the next-gen iPhone (iPhone 5) is expected to launch in September this year, a video and images leaked onto the web shows a longer iPhone housing with the two-tone finish, a smaller mini-port not unlike the 19-pin mini connector, and a new speaker grill down at the bottom.
The new iPhone is expected feature LTE, a larger screen, a redesigned port, and could have NFC too.
Also, it is reported that Apple will announce the iPhone 5 on September 12 with the launch date as Sep 21st. It's also claimed that Apple will announce the iPad mini at the same event, and that the iPod Nano will get updated as well.
