The keyboard’s smoked translucent border is intimately connected with the Windows Aero graphical user interface with Microsoft aiming to extend the Vista UX beyond the GUI into its peripherals. The software company noted that the Comfort Curve design specific of the Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000 has been at the heart of no less than 7 million product units sold worldwide.
The Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 will come with a price tag of $99.95 and will offer consumers 2.4GHz wireless technology; streamlined, one-touch access to Windows Flip 3D, and to Windows Media Center.
“The Wireless Media Desktop 1000 is the perfect companion for the media enthusiast, providing quick, one-touch access to photos, Windows Media Player and My Favorites Keys. The ultra-thin keyboard gives users full use of Windows Vista with quick access to Windows Flip 3D2 and the Windows Start Button. The desktop set also includes an optical mouse with a comfortable ambidextrous design – all at an affordable price,” Microsoft added indicating that the combo would be sold for $49.95.
