Microsoft unveiled a preview of its new design for MSN home page, focused on providing access to information and services people care about most. It’s designed for simpler navigation across top five information areas for customers: entertainment, news, sports, lifestyle and finance. Premium content’s supplied through partnerships with MSNBC, FOX Sports, Hearst, Rodale, Meredith, Mayo Clinic and more, as well as bloggers and social media sites. Along with a new logo, home page’ll feature inline access to Windows Live, Twitter, and Facebook, with abilities to update them right from home page. An uplevel Silverlight experience is coming, too, with additional added features. Video’ll receive prominent placement on home page, and an uplevel Silverlight experience there’ll feature full screen HD video viewing.
