A new intelligent task management app making it easier to plan and manage your day is introduced Wednesday, called “Microsoft To-Do.” The app delivers a smarter, more personal and intuitive way to help people stay organized and get the most out of every day.
To-Do is available in preview is a product of the Wunderlist team, and powered by Office 365 integration and an intelligent algorithm, it aims to simplify task management while helping you achieve more.
All to-dos in one place
With “To-Do” users can create a list for anything for keeping track of deadlines by adding reminders, due dates and notes, and personalize each list with colourful themes. These lists, when created is accessible from anywhere using ‘To-Do’ apps on iPhone, Android, Windows 10 devices and the web.
Inside the To-Do app, you can tap the ‘lightbulb’ for ideas, and “you’ll then see any to-dos from the day before, what’s due or upcoming, and other helpful suggestions based on To-Do’s smart algorithm.” Once you have find an idea, you can add the ones you want to My Day.
Also, every morning My Day list refreshes and starts out with a clean slate, allowing you to be more intentional about what you want to get done.
Integration with Microsoft Office
To-Do for now it automatically sync Outlook Tasks with To-Do, so you can access and manage them across devices..
Since it’s built on Office 365, customers can expect same enterprise cloud advanced security like “data encryption in transit and at rest.” Also, To-Do is served out of hyper-scale, global network of data centers.
For commercial users, IT professionals can now enable the To-Do Preview through the Office 365 admin center.
Microsoft says, more product and services integration will take place in the coming months. And, also favorite elements of Wunderlist will come into the To-Do experience such as “list sharing, apps for Mac, iPad and Android tablet.”
