Microsoft outsource tech services to HCL India

HCL Technologies, a Indian IT services provider signed a five-year, $170 million contract with Microsoft that would employ 600 people, according to a report in the Economic Times. HCL will provide technology services for Microsoft's online services business, the Times reported, citing "a person familiar with the negotiations," reports Seattle PI's Microsoft Blog.
