Microsoft and Aldata entered in to a global agreement to “deliver a new set of vertical applications for home electronics, do-it-yourself, sports and fashion retailers to complement Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, will provide a next gen integrated retail solutions that include Replenishment & Merchandising Optimization, Store & POS Management, and Loyalty & Digital Marketing modules ready-made for midsize retailers.
Dynamics AX for Retail provides retailers with an out-of-the-box, end-to-end solution that combines logistics, supply chain and financials with point of sale & store management tools to help them streamline business processes and more easily connect with their customers. It’s especially suitable for companies that operate in multiple countries because of its built-in multilanguage, multicurrency and multilegislative features.
Aldata will initially offer its new apps on AX for Retail in Finland. This’ll be followed by an international rollout via Aldata’s subsidiary operations and distributors worldwide. The new solutions and go-to-market strategy are additions to Aldata’s existing product lines and don’t replace or supersede any existing Aldata products,” noted Microsoft.
