As back-to-school season approaches, Microsoft is introducing several updates to OneNote, Class Notebook and Desktop Learning Tools to integrate with even more school systems.
OneNote now supports the embedding of videos from Flipgrid, a video discussion community for the classroom. Videos, grids and topics will now automatically appear as soon as a Flipgrid link is posted into OneNote.
An update to OneNote Class Notebook adds assignment and grade integration for three additional partners — Infinite Campus, LiveGrades and EduPoint Synergy.
Also, new are upgrades to the OneNote Desktop Learning Tools add-in version 1.7.0, including better syllables functionality for four new languages, introduced nouns, verbs and adjectives, parts of speech functionality for three new languages, and improved accuracy for English nouns, verbs and adjectives.
To get started, download the latest version 2.0 of the OneNote Desktop Learning Tools add-in on the Microsoft Learning Tools page, or get the Learning Tools at onenote.com/learningtools.
