Microsoft's latest unified communications solution is capable of handling in excess of 4 million calls without dropping a single one, according to the tests performed by Miercom. Earlier this week, Miercom published the detailed report with the conclusions from the Lync 2010 testing it performed.
During no less than 13 days and 26 minutes, no less than 4,107,951 calls were attempted through Lync 2010. Miercom reveals that the success rate for Microsoft's UC solution was 100%, with 4,107,951 completed.
Miercom engineers decided to "bracket" a sufficient call volume that would allow for a prolonged load test and achieve at least 1 million calls running for 3 days.
