Tucked away amongst a plethora of thin, flat and 3D TVs at IFA was LG's N2A2 Network Storage Drive, the latest product in the Korean giant's NAS range. N2A2 is a 2 bay device, which supports Windows, Mac OSX and Linux clients. Clearly LG have been working on their NAS software, as this new model boasts remote access courtesy of a new yourname.lgnas.com address, an on board DLNA media server, iTunes and network printing support, scheduled and real time client backup, selective folder mirroring and smartphone/iPad support.
A software update in October will bring USB and IP Camera home monitoring to device. No word on pricing or availability.
