As you may recall, Bing recently held a contest called "King of Bing Maps" asking developers to submit their apps using Bing Maps SDK. They've announced the winner, the "Taxi Fare Calculator," that helps locals and travelers alike by estimating the total fare and showing quickest route. The app covers major metro areas in US as well as 18 more cities worldwide. Brundritt won $1,000 for his creativity.

Second "GeoSales Tax" overlays a heat map over the United States to display tax rates. And the third Place "Data Viewer" is an easy way to see data on Bing Maps without having to build anything first.
