Apple launched a new service called “iTunes Preview,” that lets you view iTunes catalog using browser without being forced to launch iTunes. It also let a user copy a link from the iTunes client and paste it into the browser, they’ll be taken to song’s individual listing on Apple’s Web site. The iTunes Preview service is only available for music at the moment. There’s no word on if or when Apple will roll it out for iPhone Apps and video content. iTunes Preview also allows to sift through artists and albums based on genre. Each individual listing displays all songs in an album, the album art associated with it, its cost, and other content typically found in the iTunes store. Page also includes a link to iTunes store in case viewer wants to buy it.
