HP df300a1 Digital Picture Frame – Review

HP df300 Digital Picture Frame is a great little frame; using it you can: easily view with the intuitive user interface; store up to 45 photos with the internal memory; get up to 2 hours of battery power between charges (comes with an AC adapter/USB cable; control the show via the buttons at the top of the frame; compatibility: external memory: Secure Digital (SD), SDHC, MMC; Photo file formats: JPEG.

It’s USB connection means that you can power it from your desktop PC and have the frame displaying your favourite photos as you work.

Displaying images on the picture frame – simply place a series of images on an SD card using your computer, then slide that SD card into the frame and it’ll start a slide show of those photos immediately. Using the menu, you can copy pictures off the SD card over to the internal memory if you so wish, but with 2Gb SD cards being cheap enough to fall out of your cereal box in the morning, there’s little need. The menu provides access to a number of basic image controls – you can Zoom into images up to 4x, rotate images and change the Brightness, Colour, Contrast and Tint on the frame’s display.
