Google has launched “Googler for a Day competition 2008” to encourage teenagers to “explore the world of Computer Science.” Four Swiss classes will be selected to participate in the day, which include a scavenger hunt, interactive coding projects, a legendary Google lunch and more. The activities will be run in a mixture of both German and English. The day will run from 10am though 3pm on either November 14, November 20, November 27 or December 4th.

The 4 finalists will be invited for a day at Google's European Engineering Centre in Zurich. This competition is not open to US based students. The eligibility requirements are that you must be 14-16 years old, in a Swiss school class focused on gymnasium, the class must be less than 27 students, plus a few more requirements. You’ve until October 8, 2008 to apply.
