Search Engine Land reports, that Google is rolling out to some users, a design prototype of search results page, that features a search options pane in the left hand column. The former “All results” area that allowed you to switch between different types of searches (images, news, maps and so on) has been replaced with new tabs for these services: such as “Everything”, “Images”, or “Video”, as well as related search queries and more fine-tuning options. Clicking “Images” switches to images “mode”, to display image results. “By default, Google guesses at the modes it thinks are most relevant to your search. But the “More” tab gives you access to the full range of search services Google offers,” Marissa Mayer said.
