Google appers to be testing yet another homepage layout which is reported to be designed to for tablet devices.
The new design sporting the same gray and black bar look as the recently refreshed Google.com homepage, desktop search results, Google Maps, and Google products. But places the search filters and navigation at the top of the page, instead of on the left.
The screenshots below show a navigation bar across the top of the screen replacing the previous sidebar navigation, complete with drop-down menus for filtering results. Additionally, Googles' graphic at the foot of the screen is gone, replaced by a cleaner, if less fun, row of numbers to navigate to later pages.
