Here's another funny incident of Google Street car — camera was fallen off, and Google Street View cameras have recorded — its own demise. The video below show how to click through the images on Google Maps, and then use the embedded Google Maps to navigate live:
Goole says: "Our Street View cameras are built on a mast, that's able to be raised/lowered/angled by car drivers — for things like going under bridges/overpasses, to more easily do camera tweaking, or when storing overnight. So in this case, it looks the mast may have tilted or come a bit loose – the camera didn't actually "fall off" and nobody was injured!"
There're many mone such incidents, "hitting an overpass," a house on fire, hiting a deer and then captured a photo of the poor thing lying dead or dying afterward (Google says"one of our Street View cars hit a deer while driving on rural road in upstate New York. Due to requests using "Report a concern" tool, these images are no longer available in Street View).
