Unlike, Google Maps on desktop and Android devices, where users have the ability to plot multiple destinations in one trip. The Maps on iOS until now has only been able to get directions from one place to another.
Now, that's changing with Google Maps now let you build multi-stop road trips on Maps for iOS. All you need to do is just open the app, entering a destination, tap the corner menu, and then tapping "Add stop".
In fact, you can do this as many time you want and for as many locations as you desire.
With many people looking to sneak one more getaway into their summer plans, we've launched multi-stop directions for Google Maps on iOS (already available on Android).
Further more, you can even rearrange the order of the stops by long-pressing (tap and hold) the stop you want to move and drag it to the position you want to see. After you have added all your locations, tap "Done" and your multi-stop route is completely set up the way you liked it to.
"When you enter navigation mode you gets the same seamless driving experience that you're used to, with few additional stops along the way," the Maps team said.
The updated Google Maps for iOS is available today in the Apple App Store.
