Traveling on a bus or train now never miss your stop again with a new step-by-step directions in transit navigation launched on Google Maps for Android.

The new feature helps you keeps on track with departure times, ETAs and a new notification feature tells you when to transfer or get off a bus or train you have boarded.

You can even track your progress along the way just like you can in driving, walking or biking directions.

To get started with the new feature just launch Google Maps on your Android device, and type your destination, select the transit directions, and then choose the preferred route to your destination.

Finally, tap the "Start" button to get on your way and "you won't miss your stop this time," says Google.
