Google Flights making travel planning less stressful on mobile with new updates around when flights are likely to increase in price, as well as helping you find good hotel deals.
According to Google, searches for a certain route or a specific flight, may now show a notification with multiple tips on how to find the best flight price, as well as recommendations for alternate airports or dates.
Additionally, Google says, tips like expected increase in airfare based on historic prices for that route, along with details like how much airfare is likely to increase and when.
Over the coming weeks, Google Flights will let users know about airfare expected to change for tracked flight or route via email notifications as well as airfare prices actually increased or dropped along with fare expiration and expected price jump notifications.
Also, using Flights, user will be able to track and manage saved flights seamlessly on their smartphone on the go. And, a single tap on Explore helps in finding ideas on destinations to visit based on the type of vacation you're looking for.
In addition, a new filter helps to find more deals for hotels in the location of choice. Google already label deals when hotel rate is lower than historical pricing, or discounts on normal rate for those dates is available. To look at hotel deals — just tap in the upper left to filter for Deals and voilà!
Finally, notification like when savings are available to loyalty members on a hotel's website are displayed as well.
