Google added some new features to developer preview of Chrome Web Store:

You can sign up for Google Checkout merchant account via developer dashboard. If you're planning to use Chrome Web Store Payments to charge for apps, you'll need to complete this setup before accepting payments. If you already have Checkout merchant account, you can associate it with your items in store. Currently available to US based developers with US bank account.

  • Also added ability to see how your app will appear in store. When you preview an uploaded app, you'll see new design of the app's landing page. Several options added to help customize this page with your own header image and a larger icon. You can also upload promotional images for your app now, which appear as banners whenever your app is featured in the store.
