Google is retiring the “classic” of its social platform, as it’s introducing an all new version of Google+, adding several new significant features, among them 50 are the most requested by the community like “powerful tools for Community moderators, image comments and joining G Suite family.”
These updates since helping people discovering vibrant Communities and creating inspiring Collections than ever before, Google said they’re now rolling out three more much requested new updates coming over the next couple of weeks.
And, that sets the ground for taking down curtain on classic Google+ as well. “With this latest round of updates, we believe the new Google+ is really your Google+— designed around your suggestions, requests and needs. It also means it’s time to say goodbye to classic Google+ on the web, which we’ll be turning down on January 24,” the company said.
First up, the new Google+ will make it easier to hide low-quality comments, so you can enjoy good conversations that matter most. However, you can still see all the comments on a post, by simply clicking or a tap on “View more comments.”

The new Google+ is designed with a focus to best use of the screen size, shows less white space and more posts. And, when you are on web version (desktop), you can even zoom in on to photos on Google+.
Finally, you’ll be able to create and join Events on Google+ web as you have in the past. The events for now will not be available for G Suite users.
