The residents of the North Pole are having the time of their lives, with Santa's elves back at the North Pole and readying its old Kris Kringle to begin his journey around the world on December 24.

Google has begun its 12th count down with the launch of official Santa Tracker. Google also opened Santa Village through a site aimed to provide K-12 students new educator resource while having fun.

At Santa's Village, you will find several new games including four new ones only available on the Android app — including Present Quest. And, with CSEdWeek Dec 5 through 11, Google will unwrap three coding games to help kids of all ages learn the basics of coding.

The Santa's Village site, Google said will unlock a new experience every day "that'll get even the biggest grinch into the holiday spirit."

Teachers and parents can sort by category to easily find and download lesson plans for use in the classroom or at home.

You can follow Santa on web desktop and mobile, Android/iOS here, or download Android app, or follow him on Google Maps, Android TV and a Chrome extension as well.

Santa's dashboard featuring the latest and greatest in Google Maps technology and sleigh engineering — will allow you to follow his progress around the world, and also learn a little about some of his stops along the way.
