Google's recently launched Google+ social networking will now soon coming to Apple's iOS devices. According to Google Employee Erica Joy, the Google + app for iOS is awaiting Apple's approval in the App Store.
Google+ which was launched last week, is currently in "invite mode" only. There was a mad rush to obtain invites to join Google+ but the company has kept the free flow of invites down due to much higher than expected demand.
Just after days, Google allowed exisitng Google+ users can invite anyone they like. Just look to the bottom of the right-hand side of your stream. You should see an invite icon, like this:
Select that, and you can invite anyone you like!
Banking on this, there is now a threat that some people have been receiving false Google+ invites via email. However as CNN.com reports, many of those "invites" only lead to adds where people can purchase male "enhancement" pills. It's also likely that some invites could hide downloads of malware or other virus.
Also, note that, sometime during the day, Google opened up the Google+ sign-up process. Now, when you visit Google+ home page, it presents a sign-up box.
However, some peope are reporting that they get the "Keep Me Posted" type of message when they go to the page. While, others say that even after they sign up, they get the "Keep Me Posted" message, like this:
