Google released a search widget for bloggers/ webmasters to include on their sites. The Google AJAX Search API is an experimental API that lets you integrate a dynamic Google search module into your web pages so your users can mash up Google search results with other content on your site or add search results clippings to their own content.

The interesting thing about the widget is that users won’t leave the page searching for something, as results are loaded right below the search box via AJAX. Search results are sorted into 4 different categories – local, web, video, and blogs – and can be displayed in a list or with tabs.
