A Group of AdWords Ad reseller partners in China are protesting the company for terminating their contracts. According to an article:
About 200 employees from seven Chinese ad reselling companies began protesting outside Google's offices in Shanghai demanded compensation of US$6.5 million after the world's No. 1 online search service provider terminated all business connections with the firms, said a representative for the group.
About 40 of those participating have gone on a hunger strike that will last until the group's grievances are resolved.
Google offered less than US$2 million to the resellers, including US$800,000 for commissions and other fees, which those companies said, in a public statement, should have already been paid[...]
The seven resellers include Hangzhou eCentral, Wenzhou Zhongzi Futou Technology and Ningbo 5ENET Technology
Google stands by its decision, adding that they "don't discuss individual cases, but there're a variety of reasons why we choose to end relationships with certain partners. In all cases, we do so lawfully and in line with the terms of our contract."
