Microsoft once again confirms its commitment to the region as the world leader in innovation by allowing users to be empowered, engaged, and entertained by the IT giant's flagship products, as well as providing first looks at new business products through its partners.
The Microsoft Majlis at GITEX shopper will offer visitors the opportunity to experience the recently launched windows VISTA and 2007 Office System in addition to the empowering mobility software, Windows Mobile 6, and the high -definition gaming and entertainment that is X-Box 360 Elite, which will be launched during GITEX 2007.
'We've chosen a different route of communication with our customers at GITEX this year,' commented Bharat Kumar, Business and Marketing Officer, Microsoft Gulf.
'In previous years we have focused on specific product activity, such as the business launch of Vista in 2006 - this year is slightly different. Microsoft is not only continuing its support of its main partners at the show, we have also increased our role and focus at GITEX Shopper significantly by engaging our consumers and offering them the chance to experience exciting new products first hand.' Microsoft is giving its partners the opportunity to steal the show at GITEX as the IT giant has limited its participation to simply supporting partners at their stands, while at GITEX Shopper, the Microsoft Majlis is sure to give visitors quite a show.
'Microsoft is committed to the growth and development of the IT industry in the region,' concluded Mr Kumar. 'Our partnerships across the region reflect this and our commitment to them is borne out by the increased focus on partners at this year's GITEX. The exhibition places a global spotlight on the industry and we are looking forward to another successful week at the show with our partners and consumers.'
