Just yesterday only, diTii.com reported about the discovery of the Facebook's official iPad application within their latest iPhone app update. The social networking giant later in the day blocked the iPad application from being used with tips posted in our earlier blog post.
Those who were not lucky enough to gain an early access early, no fret - iOS jailbreaker, Chpwn, has created a tweak that can easily turn any jailbroken iPad user's Facebook for iPhone application into the full-blown iPad version.
The tweak called "FaceForward" is dead simple, all you need to do is to use FaceForward, just download the official Facebook for iPhone application from the App Store and install FaceForward from Cydia. You will now be able to access Facebook for iPad. That easy.
Chpwn suggest against updating the Facebook app until they release the official version of Facebook for iPad, since it's unlikely that FaceFoward will continue to work on future versions. There's a poin in it!
Also, note, you will need a jailbroken iPad to use FaceForward. To check if your iPad can be jailbroken and to see how to do it, check out jailbrea.kr. You might need to delete and re-install your Facebook app if it crashes on startup.
Here's a video of the installation and setup process:
