Development begins on experimental WebVR support in Microsoft Edge .

Microsoft has begun developing an experimental support in Microsoft Edge for WebVR, next frontier in web graphics.

With innovative and immersive WebVR content is already up on the web, Microsoft says along with Mozilla, Google, Oculus and others—"they've been working on advancing the W3C WebVR specification."

WebVR enable developers to create a wide range of truly immersive experiences for a variety of devices. "We expect to see even more coming as developers turn WebGL experiences into WebVR experiences," writes Frank Olivier, principal program manager lead.
