For the Nelson family, computers are a way of life.
Particularly computers that run Microsoft Corp.'s new Vista operating system. The family uses them for everything from watching movies and channel surfing to coordinating schedules and instant messaging.
Now, the Nelsons are about to be poster children for the Redmond, Wash.-based software giant. The company has just wrapped filming the family using Vista as part of a new online advertising campaign.
"They were looking for somebody who was using Vista in the way they want it to be used," said Mark Nelson, an information technology consultant. "Microsoft hadn't seen a consumer do it before."
