Electronic Arts announced today that Crysis, the visually stunning PC shooter from Far Cry developer Crytek, will be given the demo treatment on September 25th, with EA promising that the single-player demo will "include a huge surprise" from the developer. We'll have it over at FileFront as soon as it's available.
While potentially great news for PC shooter fans, console gamers might be a bit busy with a little title by the name of Halo 3, which hits the Xbox 360 on the same date. Whether intentionally timed to combat the console sequel or not, one thing is undoubtedly clear: September 25th will be a great day to be a shooter fan.
Crysis is currently slated to reach retail on November 16th.
