Microsoft, yesterday republished the Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 SP1 Cumulative update (CU) 1.
“This download includes all available updates for Team Foundation Server 2010 SP1. This hotfix download for Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010 SP1 is described in the Knowledge Base article KB2580221,” Microsoft stated.
To refresh your memory, the CU1 update released on June 13 was pulled due to following two bugs:
- Installing it on a TFS Proxy server broke the proxy server, requiring uninstall.
- After installing it on a TFS server, subsequent imports of TFS 2008 servers into TFS 2010 project collections was broken.
Both issues have now been fixed and verified and the update republished.
This cumulative update resolves the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles:
- 2479248 FIX: “Partially Succeeded” status in Visual Studio 2008 if you upgrade to TFS 2010 and to TFS Team Build 2010
- 2527572 FIX: Slow to add files or Source Control Explorer stops responding in Visual Studio after you install Team Foundation Server 2010 SP1
