DoubleClick Search team just announced the release of a new search feature "search directly within the DoubleClick Search (DS) interface" that lets quickly search across an advertiser to find the campaigns, ad groups, and just about anything in DS.

"With a search results page that loads immediately, and the ability to filter to see results for different entity types, save time and clicks and get exactly what you're looking for, right when you need it," the DS team blogged.

Features of search include:

  • "Fast, Google-style speed
  • Search within the campaign you have selected or across the entire advertiser
  • Filter your views to show only the items returned by a search, so that you can easily perform bulk operations on them
  • Find whatever you're looking for - whether it's a campaign, label, bid strategy, or inventory rule, search has you covered. Just select the category from the left-hand menu to see its results," informs DS team.

The new CSE offers users the ability to "uninterrupted browsing experience; faster, more simple search to discover great content from your site."

For developers, Google says it has simplified the creation interface with now "one snippet for search box and results."

In addition, the new CSE comes default with features such as: "autocomplete, image thumbnails and results sorting."
