Daniel Buschke released a new Windows Home Server add-in “Directory Watcher,” that’ll give the ability to set up a list of shared folders that’ll be monitored for file changes (adds or deletes) and’ll send out a notification to a list of registered users detailing the information on what has changed on the shared folders. The notification could be set up as either an email alert or perhaps an RSS feed. The add-in provides a configuration interface, which implements the options: Set the folder to be monitored, Setting file types, which are to be monitored, Type of notification (Notification to clients, RSS feed, email), Reading the status of the service, Number of days to log the events, Care of the email data.
