The System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 -- Windows Server 2008 R2 -- Basic troubleshooter for Support Diagnostic Platform was designed to collect information to help troubleshoot most of DPM 2010 problems. Microsoft Support uses the information that the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool collects to analyze and then determine the correct resolution to problems that you are experiencing on the computer. The information may also be used to automatically perform common troubleshooting tasks.
In additional to the files collected and listed above, this troubleshooter can detect one or more of the following situations:
- Machine is running on a virtual environment
- Pre-release version of Windows Server 2008 R2
- Evaluation versions of Windows Server 2008 R2
