French software company Dassault Systemes on Tuesday unveiled 3DVIA, a new platform allowing consumer and professional users to access three-dimensional services online.
Dassault, whose clients include blue-chip companies such as U.S. planemaker Boeing and Japanese car manufacturer Toyota, said it was extending its partnership with tech giant Microsoft as part of the announcement. “Dassault Systemes and its partners will develop 3DVIA … enabling anyone with access to a computer and the internet to use innovative, fun-to-use 3D services online,” Bernard Charles, president and CEO of Dassault Systemes said in a statement.
