The Expanded Text Ads, to help advertisers create more compelling ads to grab their customers’ attention was launched worldwide in the last October—now become easier to create and adopt. Towards this, Bing Ads is providing two new functionalities to Expanded Text Ads, through Bing Ads Web UI, and Bing Ads Editor.
Starting this week, a new functionality in the Bing Ads Web UI, making it easier to create Expanded Text Ads, as Bing now “letting advertisers their convert standard text ads into expanded, mobile-optimized format.”
The new format additionally also provides space for an additional ad title, more text and customizable URL paths.
Next week, a new functionality coming to Bing Ads Editor, will help to make bulk changes to ads easier, as you will be able to export standard text ads in the Expanded Text Ad format, says bing ads team.
Bing notes, that once you create new Expanded Text Ad, they’ll run in parallel along with the old standard ad. And, once Expanded Text Ad gains history and starts performing better, “you can then delete standard text ad,” writes bing. “Running both in parallel will not effect overall performance of your accounts and campaigns.”
Further, Bing notes that with Expanded Text Ads campaigns, “advertisers with a high volume of impressions have observed a 10-15% higher CTR.”
