Coming soon, after you sign in to Windows Live Mail, your account management services may be updated to the new Windows Live Account experience.

As you may have noticed, your Microsoft Passport has now become your Windows Live ID, and as part of the complete change, we are going to start moving customers from the account management experience at http://accountservices.msn.com to the new Windows Live Account located at https://account.live.com.

Not all Windows Live Mail customers will be moved.  This is still a new system, so we won't be able to handle everyone moving over at once.  This change will only affect the screens you see if you sign in to http://login.live.com or https://account.live.com.

You can expect to start seeing these changes mid- to late-May.  It won't affect how you check your mail, you won't have to sign up for a new account, and unless you sign in to http://login.live.com, you won't even notice the change.
