Since Canvas ad format for Website Clicks and Website Conversions objectives, was launched in February, today, extended to brand advertising.
“Making Canvas accessible for all brands means simplifying the creation experience so that marketers don’t have to build them from scratch. Soon,” facebook said.
If you are not aware, “Canvas is an immersive mobile experience on Facebook for businesses to tell their stories and showcase their products. You can easily build your Canvas using a combination of videos, still images and call-to-action buttons,” explains facebook, adding, “In Canvas, people can swipe through a carousel of images, tilt to view panoramic images and zoom in to view images in detail.”
“Canvas was built to bring your content to life in a fast-loading and seamless experience on Android and iOS.” Leveraging the same technology used to display photos and videos quickly in the Facebook app, “Canvas loads quickly, “as “much as 10 times faster than the standard mobile web.”
With Canvas, “you have complete creative control to achieve any objective, such as telling your brand story, promoting an app or a new film and showcasing your products.”
Facebook notes, that new features to help make it an even more immersive format, such as “360 videos” and “links to other Canvas experiences on Facebook” are added.
“360 video to Canvas will give advertisers a unique way to engage people on mobile and encourage them to interact with content,” company said.
