You may have heard about BUILD, Microsoft's developer conference, in Anaheim, California 13 - 16 September. Developers from around will gather this week to learn more about the Windows 8 and other Microsoft products, and tools.
Microsoft just announced of providing a preview of Windows 8 Build 8100,
"At the event Microsoft will offer developers a preview of a reimagined Windows. First unveiled at the D9 conference in June, Windows 8 will let developers leverage the power and flexibility of Windows to deliver a variety of dynamic, modern apps on a huge scale."
"BUILD, which runs Sept. 13-16 in Anaheim, Calif., aims to show developers of all types how they can take advantage of Microsoft's platform, said Walid Abu-Hadba, corporate vice president of the company's Developer and Platform Evangelism Group (DPE)," stated Microsoft.
In short attendees will get the Windows 9 Preveiw Build 8100.
They say two or three days, Microsoft will give all Windows 8 8100, the so-called Developer preview, a tweet stated.
According to a tweet from "Build Windows 8":
One other thing. Delegates will receive slate PC's with the Windows 8 bits preloaded, too. Microsoft is still being secretive about what the lineup actually is at BUILD, too; with the schedule being under wraps until after the initial keynote.
If you're not attending and interested in knowing more, you can watch the keynotes live from the BUILD website, starting at 9 am PDT on Sept. 13th and the day two keynote at the same time on Sept. 14th.
Microsoft will also be covering BUILD on the Microsoft News Center, where the company will be providing news and updates about Windows 8 and other platform technologies throughout the event.
It's not like it's not completely obvious, but we've received confirmation that Microsoft is planning on giving out a developer preview to attendees at BUILD this week, and the lucky build number?
