Microsoft plan to have its own booth at the December 29, Japanese Comic Market Convention at the Tokyo Big Site, where the company will sell a Special Edition Windows 8 Anime PC.

A report by reveals that Microsoft is looking into ways to make the most of the Japanese market, so continuing its efforts to advertise Windows 8 using anime mascots seems to be the best way to do it.

Microsoft already offering a Windows 8 DSP (Delivery Service Partner) edition that uses two different anime mascots called "Madobe Yū and Madobe Ai." Priced at $255, the Japanese edition of Windows 8 includes a theme pack wallpaper, event sounds and a Microsoft Wedge touch mouse with the Windows 8 logo.

Like its predecesors, Windows 8 too include a less-known "GodMode."

For those new, "GodMode is nothing more than a secret dedicated folder providing access to computer settings to all available features bundled into the operating system."

If you've not or don't have experience, it's not recommeded to use the Windows 8 GodMode, as it could rendear your system useless.

Those, who want to go ahead, -- "simply go to "Desktop," create a new folder and add the following string in its name: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. Now, hit "Enter" and the folder icon would change to resemble the Classic Windows Control Panel."

The Windows 8 GodMode support specific keyword associated to a certain app. "More like a large collection of tags, these keywords help you find a specific GodMode tool almost instantly, as Microsoft has created a long list of such keywords for every single option."

You can even launch the "Adjust ClearType text" screen by simply "writing down fonts, type, opentype, dots, inch, dpi, pixels, resolution, size and many, many other tags."

The information is presented in a position in the head mounted display which does not interfere with the user's enjoyment of the live event," the patent application reads (via).
